What is a Dental Membership Plan?
The Dental Membership Plan is a way to allow our loyal patients to receive discounted treatment. For an annual fee, our Dental Membership Plan will allow you to obtain Preventive Services at no charge and get significant discounts on other dental services. The Dental Membership Plan is not an insurance plan and is not intended to act as or replace dental insurance.

How much does the Dental Membership Plan cost?
- Adult plan – $350 per year
- Child (under 18) $300 per year
What Services are Included in the Membership Plan?
- Comprehensive New Patient Exam
- Periodic Exam every 6 months
- Emergency Visits 2 per year
- Dental 2D X-rays as needed
- Dental Cleaning every 6 months
- Fluoride Treatment every 12 months
What Services are Discounted 20% under the Membership Plan?
- Composite Resin (white) Fillings
- Fixed Dental Bridges
- Porcelain Crowns and Veneers
- Core Build-ups
- Periodontal Scaling/Root Planing
- Periodontal Maintenance visits

How can being a Member save you money?
The ADA recommends routine cleanings and exams twice a year, and xrays every 12 months. Without dental insurance, this adds up to $400-$460 per year. Therefore, the Membership Plan (at a cost $300-350) more than pays for itself with routine cleanings and exams alone, and then you save 20% on any treatment needed beyond that.
What are the Limitations and Exclusions of the Hughes Family Dental Membership Plan?
- Membership Plan cannot be combined with dental insurance or any other discounts or offers.
- Twenty percent discount does not apply to our already discounted treatments with coupons: Biteguard ($250), whitening (trays $200, in office $350), clear aligners ($4,000), orthodontics with brackets ($3,800), Botox (varies), and smooth threader treatment (varies)
- Member Plan services and discounts can only be used at Hughes Family Dental.
- Some services may be referred to a specialist, i.e., Oral Surgeon, Periodontist or Endodontist.
Treatment for these services is subject to the specialist’s regular fee. - If a member is diagnosed with periodontal disease, perio treatment does not fall under included
preventative treatment, but is discounted 20 percent. - Plan is non-transferrable. Family members cannot be substituted for each other.
- All fees are due in full at time of treatment.
- Plan holder must maintain a $0 balance on account at all times. Payment options are cash, check
or credit card. Care Credit or other third-party payment services CANNOT be used to pay for
discounted treatment or membership fee. - Annual membership fee is non-refundable, even if the plan benefits are not utilized. Plan may
be terminated for failure to pay membership fee, billed services and/or missed appointment
fees. Membership fee will not be refunded and all services and discounts terminated.
